    Iceland

    Iceland feels like another planet, geysers blasting steam, waterfalls tumbling over black volcanic cliffs, ice-blue glaciers creeping towards the sea. For adventurous travellers it offers unforgettable natural drama. Soaking in geothermal hot springs under the midnight sun, hiking lava fields, and watching the northern lights ripple across winter skies.

    Iceland’s slower pace really allowed me to take in the beauty of the nature around me. I felt completely removed from the noise of everyday life, which made the experience even more memorable. A highlight was visiting Hallgrímskirkja in Reykjavík; its stunning design and the views across the city were well worth the visit.

    Sorento

    Sorrento is all romantic cliff-top glamour, perched above the sparkling Bay of Naples with sweeping views of Mount Vesuvius. Its winding cobbled streets are lined with lemon-scented boutiques, trattorias and centuries-old palazzos, offering a delicious slice of laid-back Italian life. 

    Sorrento is so charming, it’s my favourite base for exploring the Amalfi Coast, close to places like Capri, Positano and Pompeii, but with its own relaxed pace, great food, and stunning sea views. It’s the kind of place you will want to return to again and again. 



  • Numerous hot air balloons floating in the sky at sunrise or sunset over a rocky landscape.

    Cappadocia

    There’s something unforgettable about drifting over Cappadocia’s fairy chimneys in a hot air balloon at sunrise, then exploring the valleys on horseback, taking in the unique landscape. It’s a place that can be both adventurous and relaxing, depending on what you’re looking for. You can hike through surreal rock formations, stay in cave hotels that blend history with charm, share a traditional clay-pot meal, or simply watch the sun set over the rocks - a real pinch-me moment.
