You do not need to travel far. Spain, the Balearic and Canary Islands, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and Portugal all have a good choice of adult-only hotels, many of them within a short flight of the UK.
Further afield, the Caribbean and Mexico are known for adult-only all-inclusive resorts, and the Maldives, Mauritius and Thailand have many hotels designed with couples in mind. Some cruise ships are reserved for adults too, which combines the same relaxed atmosphere with several destinations in one trip.
