Meet the Founder

I’m Markus Kendall-Young, the founder of Auria Travel, and I’m delighted to bring my lifelong love of travel back to where it all began – my hometown of Ashby de la Zouch.

With over 30 years’ experience in the travel industry, I’ve done everything from flying around the world as airline cabin crew to working in major brand high street travel stores, and more recently as a personal travel consultant helping customers on a one-on-one basis.

Opening a bricks-and-mortar travel agency has been a long-held dream of mine – and now it’s finally here. Auria Travel isn’t just a business; it’s a passion project built on years of experience, a love of travel, and a belief in genuine customer service. Whether you’re new to travel or a seasoned explorer, I’d love for you to pop in and say hello.
