With over 30 years of experience in the travel industry, I’ve built my expertise across a wide range of roles, from many years in corporate travel supporting large global clients, to working in travel agencies, running my own travel business for over four years, and gaining valuable insight from my time with tour operators. My love of travel comes from exploring the world myself. I’ve visited Melbourne and Sydney in Australia, the tropical islands of Fiji, Hawaii, Mauritius, and Barbados. Some of my favourite destinations include Bangkok and Koh Samui, where the culture, food, and scenery always leave a lasting impression. I’m also a huge cricket fan, and my passion for the sport has added the West Indies, South Africa, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, and hopefully The Ashes to my evergrowing list of places I can’t wait to explore. I’ve also visited iconic US cities such as New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. In addition, I’ve travelled widely across Europe, discovering its vibrant cities, beautiful beaches, and charming coastal towns, experiences that help me create truly personalised recommendations. 

What truly drives me is delivering warm, personal customer service and designing holidays that feel effortless, thoughtful, and perfectly tailored. My Favourite Places

Thailand

Thailand holds a very special place in my heart. It’s a destination that blends vibrant culture, breathtaking scenery, and the warmest hospitality, the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve returned home. 

From the bustling energy of Bangkok, with its incredible street food, glittering temples, and lively markets, to the laid back tropical charm of Koh Samui, Thailand offers a perfect balance of excitement and relaxation. I love the contrast: one moment you’re exploring ornate palaces or cruising along the Chao Phraya River, and the next you’re unwinding on a palm fringed beach with turquoise waters at your feet. 

Some of my most memorable experiences in Thailand include visiting the Bridge over the River Kwai, a deeply moving and historically significant site, and witnessing the mesmerising Maeklong Railway Market, where stalls fold away in seconds as the train glides through — a sight that feels almost surreal in person. 

What makes Thailand truly unforgettable is the way it welcomes you in. The people, the flavours, the colours, the sunsets, everything feels rich, warm, and full of life. It’s a destination I return to again and again in my mind, and one I adore recommending to clients looking for a holiday that blends culture, beauty, and pure relaxation. 

Whether it’s a first time visit or a return trip, Thailand has a way of capturing your heart, just as it has captured mine.

Melbourne

Melbourne will always feel like a home away from home for me. With so much of my family living there, every visit is filled with warmth, familiarity, and that unmistakable Melbourne charm. But beyond the family ties, it’s a city that has captured my heart in so many unforgettable ways. 

One of my favourite places to visit is the iconic MCG, a true temple of sport. Whether it’s the atmosphere, the history, or simply standing in such an impressive stadium, it’s an experience that never loses its magic. Melbourne also offers some incredible day trips, and Phillip Island is one I adore. Watching the famous Penguin Parade as the sun sets is something everyone should experience at least once. 

I also love the nostalgia and beauty of riding Puffing Billy through the Dandenong Ranges, a charming step back in time that always makes me smile. Exploring Captain Cook’s Cottage in the peaceful Fitzroy Gardens is another highlight, offering a fascinating glimpse into history right in the heart of the city. 

And of course, no trip to Melbourne is complete without travelling along the breathtaking Great Ocean Road. The dramatic coastline, the Twelve Apostles, and the winding scenic drive make it one of the most spectacular journeys I’ve ever taken. 

Melbourne is a city that blends culture, nature, history, and heart, and every time I visit, I’m reminded why it’s one of my favourite places in the world.

Mauritius

Mauritius is one of those destinations that completely sweeps you off your feet. From the moment you arrive, you’re surrounded by turquoise lagoons, soft white sands, and a sense of calm that feels almost magical. It’s a place where relaxation comes naturally, yet there’s so much to explore if you’re tempted to wander. 

What I love most about Mauritius is its incredible blend of cultures, a beautiful mix of Indian, African, French, and Creole influences that you can feel in the food, the music, the architecture, and the warm, welcoming spirit of the people. Every visit feels like stepping into a vibrant tapestry of flavours, colours, and traditions. 

The beaches are truly breathtaking, but Mauritius offers so much more than pictureperfect coastlines. From lush botanical gardens and dramatic volcanic landscapes to charming local markets and peaceful island villages, there’s always something new to discover. Whether you’re exploring the stunning Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth, taking a catamaran cruise along the coast, or simply watching the sunset melt into the ocean, the island has a way of slowing time and filling every moment with beauty. 

Mauritius is a destination that stays with you, serene, colourful, and full of heart. It’s one of my favourite places to recommend to clients looking for a holiday that blends luxury, culture, and pure island bliss.
