Founder and Director

I’m Markus, the founder of Auria Travel, and bringing this business to life in my hometown of Ashby-de-la-Zouch has genuinely been a dream come true.



Travel has shaped my life for over 30 years. I started out as airline cabin crew back in the 90s, which gave me the chance to see the world first-hand and sparked a passion that’s never left me. Since then, I’ve worked across the industry, from high street travel agencies to running stores and planning thousands of holidays for clients.

Over time, I realised I wanted to build something that reflected how I believe travel should be done. Not rushed, not transactional, but personal, thoughtful and genuinely focused on the customer. That’s what led me to create Auria Travel, a business built on experience, trust and proper service.

Cruising and tailor-made travel are where I really come into my own. I’ve been lucky enough to experience dozens of cruises myself, and I love using that first-hand knowledge to guide people properly. For me, it’s about understanding what you want and building something around you, not just picking something off a shelf.

At the end of the day, I just enjoy helping people plan something they’re genuinely excited about. Travel should feel special, and I take a lot of pride in making sure every trip we plan lives up to that.

I’m Vicky, a Senior Travel Consultant here at Auria Travel, and I’ve been lucky enough to spend over 20 years working in an industry I genuinely love.

For the past 10 years, I’ve been based in Leicester with TUI, where I built up a wonderfully loyal client base. Many of my customers have been coming back to me year after year, trusting me to plan their holidays, which is something I’m incredibly proud of.

Before that, I worked as airline cabin crew with some of the UK’s leading airlines. That experience gave me a real understanding of travel from the inside out and helped shape the way I look after my clients today.



I’m all about making the whole journey feel smooth and stress free, from the moment you start planning right through to when you return home. It’s the little details that matter most to me, and I love adding those extra touches that turn a good holiday into a truly special one.

At the heart of it, I just love helping people create amazing memories. Whether it’s a big once in a lifetime trip or a well deserved break, I’m here to make sure everything is just right.

Hi I'm Daniel. I’ve always been someone who enjoys connecting with people and building relationships, which is what naturally led me into business development within the travel industry.

Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to work with some fantastic travel brands, building partnerships and helping businesses grow. For me, it’s never just about the numbers, it’s about creating genuine, long-term relationships that actually mean something.

Travel is something I’ve always been passionate about. I love the way it brings people together, creates memories and opens your eyes to new experiences, and being able to work in an industry that does that every day is something I don’t take for granted.



I’m at my best when I’m working closely with others, sharing ideas and finding new opportunities. I enjoy the collaborative side of what I do and the challenge of turning conversations into something real and successful.

Above all, I’m focused on doing good work with good people, and continuing to grow in an industry that I genuinely enjoy being part of.
